I’ve had a thrilling ride through the vibrant world of UK Commercial Radio as a Broadcast Journalist! My adventure began at Chichester Hospital Radio, where I first caught the broadcasting bug. Soon after, I was lighting up the airwaves as the Saturday morning newsreader at Spirit FM. I went on to create news segments at Bath FM and later freelance for IRN, Immedia Broadcasting, Magic, Ocean FM, Power FM, Bright FM, Splash FM, Sovereign FM. I have done stints on American radio stations, I was the UK reporter for SiriusOutQ investigating LGBTQ news for on-air bulletins. Later worked on Mix 104.1 in Dallas, Fort Worth, presenting a late-night show about the paranormal.
When the radio landscape began shifting due to station takeovers and dwindling opportunities, I stepped away from the microphone and ventured into the conventional workforce. However, my passion for radio never dimmed, as I started podcasting. The launch of V2 Radio marked my exciting return to real radio, where I was warmly welcomed as the weekend journalist. Today, I’m the full-time Head of News and Socials at V2 Radio, broadcasting across the South of England on a DAB station that’s capturing hearts and ears alike.
I also lend my voice to Ashdown Radio and Seahaven FM, ensuring the news reaches every corner of the community.
